   Band seems like such a bland name.  It seems so limited.  I think I'll propose to the administration at school that we change it.  Maybe something like "ELAmathSCIsocialSPANitaliFRENartMUSlife". And while I'm at it, I'll classify it.  We have academic, special and then we have essential.  Maybe life-changing.  Or how about morally imperative.  Funny how none of those seem to really work.

	How about calling band "Cross-curricular Culture Studies"?!?
